The Innocence Project London became a registered charity

In August this year. Having been running since 2010, becoming a charity will enable the IPL to fundraise to continue its work. Director Dr Louise Hewitt said: “Becoming a charity open doors in terms of fundraising so we can become sustainable for our clients, and it means we can also collaborate with other charitable partners who work to improve the criminal justice system.”
