SUPPORT US

The Innocence Project London (IPL) was founded in 2010 and is based at the University of Greenwich. We exist to review and investigate cases of convicted individuals who have maintained their innocence but have exhausted the criminal appeals process.

We are their last hope.

As a charity, we rely on donations to sustain our commitment to provide access to justice for our clients and educate the next generations of legal professionals. Fundraising is key to maintaining our operations.

We are indebted to our partners Weil, Gotshal & Manges, the University of Greenwich, and Inventive Productions who provide financial and administrative support, and advocate on our behalf. Thank you for your continued belief in what we do; without your help, we would not be the organisation we’ve evolved into over the last few years.

But we need to – and can – do more.

You can also help in other ways:

  • Follow us on LinkedInInstagram and and/or share our posts

  • Listen and share the IPL Podcast with four special episodes highlighting the impact of innocence work

  • Learn more about how we work with students at the University of Greenwich

  • Support our letter writing campaign to urge the Director of Public Prosecutions to review the case of Conroy Smith.

Your support will ensure our clients continue to benefit; with your donation, the IPL can continue to accept applications and work on the cases of convicted individuals who have exhausted the criminal appeals process and maintain their innocence.

Thank you.
